Katherine is a Clinical Psychology Registrar whose work with clients is underpinned by positive psychology and mindfulness. She has enjoyed a range of work roles in the past including time in the military followed by a decade working with cancer patients and their families, before training as a Clinical Psychologist. As a result of this experience, she has a strong interest in working with people affected by cancer and chronic illnesses, as well as supporting military personnel and their families.
Katherine has also been a practitioner of mindfulness for 15 years, and is passionate about teaching mindfulness to others, especially parents.
She works with adults and teenagers. She is engaging and empathic and takes a collaborative, strenghts based approach to working with her clients. She utilises a range of evidence-based therapies including mindfulness, ACT and CBT.
