How long does each appointment go for?
A standard psychology appointment is usually 50 minutes. Assessment appointments may vary depending on the type and stage of assessment.
What can I expect in my first session?
Your first session is an opportunity for your psychologist to get to know you, understand what has brought you to therapy, and discuss any goals you may have. You are welcome to ask questions, share at your own pace and talk through what support may be most helpful for you.
Referrals and Assessments
Do I need a referral from my GP to book in?
No, you do not need a referral to see one of our psychologists but, with an appropriate referral you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate. We recommend that you speak with your GP about this.
