Roxana is a provisional psychologist who provides both assessment and therapy for children, adolescents and adults. She has a particular interest in working with children and families. She values taking a wholistic approach that considers not only the individual, but also the family, school, and other systems that influence wellbeing.
Roxana’s approach is warm, collaborative, and person-centered. She believes that while every person’s story is unique, there are common human experiences that connect us all, and she strives to create a safe and supportive space where clients feel understood and empowered.
Roxana previously worked as a teacher, and this has provided her with valuable insight into child development and the many factors that influence a child’s wellbeing and learning. She has experience administering a range of psychological assessments and screening measures.
Roxana draws primarily from Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and also incorporates aspects of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Schema Therapy in her work.
