Steph is a Registered Psychologist, with experience working as a speech pathologist supporting neurodivergent children, teenagers, and their families. As a speech pathologist, Steph’s work focused on empowering individuals to express themselves in ways that are accessible and affirming.
As a psychologist Steph is friendly, non-judgmental and validating, Steph aims to bring a sense of warmth and unconditional positive regard to her sessions. Her aim is to help individuals approach challenges with curiosity, self-compassion, and to live authentically within their values.
Steph enjoys working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, interpersonal/relationship issues, family difficulties, trauma, grief/loss, and burn-out.
Steph’s approach is collaborative and person-centred, drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Schema Informed therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS).
