Tom is a Clinical Psychologist who is passionate about supporting people through life’s challenges and taking the time to understand their unique stories. He believes that meaningful psychological work begins with truly understanding the person behind the difficulties and that therapy is most effective when grounded in a genuine, collaborative relationship.
Tom works with clients across the entire lifespan and has experience supporting clients with a range of concerns, including mood difficulties, anxiety, OCD, relationship, self-improvement and challenges related to life transition and adjustment.
His approach to therapy is person-centred and guided by values of compassion, authenticity and committed action toward meaningful change. Tom believes that the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important foundations for positive outcomes, and he strives to create a space where clients feel heard, respected and understood.
In his work, Tom draws on evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), integrating these with a collaborative and individualised approach that honours each person’s experiences and goals.
